Matthew Clark is a traditional and digital artist based in Greenville, South Carolina.  He is a graduate of Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Illustration.  Matthew works as a screen printer and freelance artist.

Born and raised in the once smaller town of Greenville,  he has now seen his hometown grow into a bustling city, overtime exposing him to greater inspiration, influence and creativity.  Matthew grew up loving to work and create things with his hands.  However it was not until the eighth grade that he truly fell in love with drawing and dreaming up his own creative endeavors.  Following this spike of interest, he went on to teach himself to steady his hand and create drawings of some of his favorite characters.  He would eventually create art for his church and loved ones.  He went on to graduate and pursue an art career beginning at a local community college and concluding that journey at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.

His artistic inspirations span from classical renaissance paintings, traditional hand-drawn animation and sequential art.  Matthew is drawn to art with elements of realism, storytelling and the fantastical. He uses this admiration to strive towards creating a portfolio of work just as rich with creativity.
